Registration

Students register for a time slot or program offering on a monthly basis.  Each student's slot is reserved especially for him/her on the day of the week and at the agreed upon time.

Payment

To calculate each month's tuition please use the following equation:

Cost per session  X  session in the month = total due

Monthly payments are due on the 15th of each month for the following months lessons.  Please keep in mind that the farm is commited to providing consisent and quality services; to do so each student's timely payment is essential.  If payment is not received by the 15th of the month the slot will be offered to another rider.

Farm is closed on major holidays.

Credits

Credit for lesson fees will only be offered when:

  • If a student must withdraw (give up time slot) for long-term medical reasons
  • If a cancellation is initiated by us for instructor illness or continuing education workshop (we will offer a make-up)

There are no refunds.

Attendance and Make-Ups

If a session is missed because a student will be away or unable to attend for any reason, the monthly balance will not be adjusted.

Make-up lessons are not possible due to the structure of the farm and instructors scheudules.

Lessons will be held rain or shine with appropriate indoor riding and/or un-mounted lessons.

Please tell your instructor if you will be absent from your lesson, this will avoid holding up your riding partner or class.

Dress Code

All students participating in our traditional program and accelerated lessons are required to follow a dress code for their comfort and safety.

All students are required to wear a helmet which we have for our students to use if they do not have their own.  Boots with a heel or paddock boots are required.   Riding breeches or jeans with half-chaps are preferred.  If you decide not to invest in riding attire right away please make sure your child wears loose fitting jeans or pants.  Hair should be back in a pony tail and out of the students face.  Please do not have your child arrive for lessons with shorts, capris or crocs.

For students that primarily ride on bareback pads it is acceptable to wear sneakers, but pants are still required.
