It Takes Two Farm 2010 Summer Camps
We
combine a qualified staff, experienced horses and a safe environment where campers can learn new skills, advance current skills
and enjoy riding with new friends. All students learn how to handle themselves and their mounts safely. In addition to the
daily horse care and riding, students will learn about talking and approaching horses using “horse language”,
conformation, colors & markings, fitting tack, first aid, safety and much more. These specific classes will be taught
with hands on ground work whenever possible. We teach
balanced seat first where students can learn the fundamentals and
are then able to advance. We ride in the indoor arena as well as on the trail.

Beginner Camps

Is your child horse crazy? Want them to learn the basic horsemanship skills
in a safe environment?
Then we are the place for them. They will be
learning safety, grooming, leading, riding, etc. For ages 6+
Intermediate Camps $ 375 per camp
June 28 –July 2 (Full)

This is a great camp to work on our trotting
skills. Posting, ½ seat and steering patterns while trotting
will
be part of their formal lesson. For those that we feel are ready will work on their canter skills as well.
They will also delve into the nutrition, digestion and horse care. Lots to learn at
this camp. Ages: 8+
Please send your child with a snack,
lunch and appropriate clothing for the day.
Camp hours are 9 to 4 with drop off between 8:30 and 9 and pick up between 4 and 4:30.
If you drop off
earlier than 8:30 or pick up after 4:30 there will
be a $10 fee.
Camps are limited to 6 participants so sign up early. Email for a camp sign up form.
A non-refundable
deposit of 1/2 the camp fess is due at time of sign up and the remaining 1/2 due by June 1st.
